This bracket properly fit my retrofit motor (Evergreen IM ECM 1/2 HP) which is a NEMA 48 frame size. The original (failing) motor / mounting bracket installed in the blower was smaller and could not be adjusted larger to hold the retrofit motor.
The original bracket mounted onto the blower was larger, so I needed to drill new holes in the blower enclosure, much closer to the inside edge of the blower cage opening (too close.) It would have been better if comfortgurus would have stocked/offered the 12 inch version of this bracket (Lau part number 054091-01) for a 12" blower.
Also, the installation guide for the 1/2 HP Evergreen IM motor calls for the bracket to be mounted using three bolt & nuts. The Lau kit supplied three metal screws.
